Lost Snowshoes

January  11,20L3
Hi Neighbours!
Belated  Christmas & New Years Greetings.
We hope you had a great Holiday with family  and friends. We spent Christmas with family  in Edmonton
and then were back to GP where we continued  the visiting with our family and friends here. My brother
and his wife from Cranbrook  were here as well. Lots of fun, lots of laughs as we reminisced.  The only
thing that dampened  the event was going out to snow  shoe on Thursday  afternoon  and discovering  that
our snow shoes were missing. There  are a lot of memories tied up in those shoes, both here at the
Shores as well as elsewhere and it was disturbing to find them gone from our front walk.
We were some what{reassured)relieved  though when we were reporting the incident to the RCMP to
learn that: 1) our area is one of the.safest areas  to live, in GP 2) that this particular  episode looks
more like kid stuff rather than planned criminal activity, and 3) the RCMP  have listed the loss and will
increase  their surveillance  check to monitor any unusual activity in the Shores.  They are asking  that
those of us who live in the Shores  watch for unusual  activity  as well and report  these  to the RCMP.  This
way, together we can work toward making  our living  area the safe place we want it to be.
LET'S KEEP A WATCH  OUT!
