The social committee is busy planning the fall potluck but this year we are planning to add a fun golf tournament to be held in the afternoon. The golf tournament will be just for fun with a 4 person team best ball format and the only prize might be 'bragging' rights. hehe! The potluck will be held here at the Shores as usual.
It will be held at Morningview golf course and they have generously reduced their rates for us. The cost will be $16 walking or $23.50 including a seat on a cart. Prices include GST. Thank you to Rosalie Middlebrook for negotiating such a great rate for us!
Don't golf? No problem, you can swing away anyway, it is just for fun:) or you can choose to come out as a 'caddy' to cheer on your friends or spouse. The cost is $7.50 and that will get you a seat on a cart!
Unfortunately we are unable to get tee times to accommodate us on a weekend so we'll need to hold it during the week.
What I need to know now is how many people are interested in golfing/caddying and also if there is a preference for day. We will go with the majority.

Thursday, Sept 11 - beginning at 1 PMish
Friday, Sept 12- beginning at 1 PMish
with potluck to follow here at the Shores as usual around 5:30 - 6 ish.

How many people in your unit wish to golf or to 'caddie' and also if you have a preference for one of the days listed. If either day is ok please mention that as well.
