It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph Alexander Stang (husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son and brother), passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015, surrounded by his family, at the age of 88 years.
Joseph will be forever remembered and sadly missed by his wife and best friend of 58 years Beatrice, and their precious children: Donna (Pat) Brennan, Rob (Wanda) Stang, Laureen (Douglas) Morris, and Joseph (Tara) Stang; grandchildren: Erin, Shivon (DJ), Douglas, Joseph Cole, Tiare, Regan (Andrew), Jaimee, Reed, and Nalani; great-grandchidlren Sophie and James. Joseph will also be fondly remembered by numerous family members, extended family, and dear friends.
Prayer Service will be held on Monday, May 25, 2015 at 7:30pm at Oliver’s Funeral Chapel in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in memory of Joseph on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 10:30am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grande Prairie (10404 102 St.).
Memorial donations in memory of Joseph may be made to QEII Hospital Foundation – ICU/Emergency (10409 98 St. Grande Prairie, AB T8V 2E8).
